Job Title: Security Officer/Driver
Location: Sergeant Bluff
Environment: Industrial

Pay Rate: $18.00 an hour

General Job Functions: Maintain safety and security of client site

Shift & Hours:
11:00 pm - 7:00 am (overnights) - Sunday - Wednesday
*Days off - Thursday, Friday and Saturday

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and maintain entry/exit of client facility
• Monitor CCTV
• Make rounds of facility property

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• Operating of a company patrol vehicle during work hours
• Foot patrols of client facility/property inside and outside
• Other security related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check
• Customer service skills are a must
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills
• Computer skills
• Must be able to obtain/maintain an Iowa Security License (GardaWorld will help to obtain)

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Able to pass Iowa Security License background
