Job Description

*Job Title:* MRI Technologist

*Location:* Atlanta, GA, 30303

*Department:* Radiology / Cardiology

*Schedule:* Day Shift (5x8 Hours), 7:00 AM - 15:30 PM

*Duration:* 13 weeks

*Rate:* $$60-$65/hr.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform MRI scans following established protocols and procedures.
* Prepare patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
* Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
* Monitor patients during scans and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
* Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of MRI equipment to uphold quality standards.
* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations regarding patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

*Qualifications:*
* Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
* ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
* Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Georgia.
* Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in patient documentation and imaging procedures.
* Flexibility to work day shifts (5x8 Hours) and potentially weekends or holidays as needed.
