Our client is in search for a 6 month Onboarding Specialist to join their team for a remote opportunity!
As a member of our HR team, the Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely updating and overall maintenance and accuracy of all employee data and within the PEGI’s ADP Workforce Now (WFN) HRIS-Payroll system.
What you will be working on:
· Primary responsibility is to administer and support employee onboarding process through collection of new hire documents and ensuring the new hires are moving along the process, including processing of e-I9’s for all new employees.
· Timely and accurate data entry of a high volume of diverse information and employee data changes including new hires, terminations, salary changes, status changes and all other employment data transactions.
· Provide day-to-day support for HRIS-Payroll such as user permission set up, data entry, data corrections and auditing for data integrity.
· Act as a resource to management on process and procedure when submitting Personnel Action Notices.
· Answer basic questions regarding employee data such as PTO or paycheck information.
· Process new employee background, drug, reference, and employment verification checks by submitting online investigation requests through vendor and reporting results back to department manager, HRBP and hiring managers.
· Participate in testing for system implementations, upgrades, enhancements.
· Provide administrative project support for scheduling and communications.
· Maintain discretion and ensure proper handling while dealing with highly sensitive data.

What you know:
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:
· High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree in a business or related field is a plus.
· 1-2 years of work experience in HRIS/Payroll role.
· Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) required
· ConnectWise or ticketing system experience is a plus
· General understanding of Payroll, Timekeeping, and Wage & Hour concepts
