Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant

• Maintain employee database and records
• Sort through emails and calls for the HR department
• Display conflict management and proper decision making skills
• Assist the HR manager with performing administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
• Submit job postings online and manage the applicant flow
• Coordinate orientation and training for all new employee hires

Preferred Qualifications of the Human Resources Assistant

• At least 1-2 years of HR assistant experience
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to use Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be familiar with HR laws and regulations
