Job Summary: The
Campus Dispatch Coordinator member will be responsible for creating work orders and dispatching to those who manage work crews, emergency response, or distribution of equipment to appropriate locations according to pre-determined schedules, requests, or urgent needs at Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW).
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: - Create work orders to dispatch work crews or equipment to appropriate locations according to pre-determined schedules, requests, or urgent needs.
- Relaying information such as work orders, emergencies, or other information to work crews, inspectors, supervisors or emergency response personnel.
- Responsible for all functions of our 24/7 work order software. Including, but not limited to work order creation, automatic preventative maintenance work orders, equipment lists, and daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal checklists.
- Prepare reports for showing time to complete work orders, 30-60-90 day categories for outstanding work orders, duplicate orders, etc.
- Use two-way radios, crisis communication systems, telephones, or text messaging to contact employees or emergency personnel.
- Communicates with supervisors or guests to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment.
- Prepares daily work schedules.
- Keeping and organizing work requests, charges or work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records or other information.
- Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
- Assist other departments with various tasks, when necessary and appropriate.
- Must adhere to and ensure uniform standards are met at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
FULL-TIME/SALARY EXEMPT POSITION Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required, College degree highly preferred.
- Previous experience in operations, reception, dispatch, extremely helpful.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent clerical and technology skills, ability to learn new software quickly for dispatching duties.
- Ability to spend time outside and on your feet in extreme weather conditions from time to time.
- Must work both well with others and independently.
- Have the ability to stay calm in stressful scenarios or during rapidly changing situations.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Have the ability to multi-task and change priorities quickly.
- Must have the ability to balance many projects at once.
- Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as campus needs require.
- Conduct self in a professional manner both in personal appearance and attitude.
- Represent the Hall of Fame Village in a professional manner.
Physical Requirements for Position: - The ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous or hazardous situations.
- The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.
- Must be able to hear, see, and speak.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.
- Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.
- Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio.
